The Sloten Windmill & Coopery Museum
Discover the only functioning windmill in Amsterdam, open to the public on a daily basis.
It is a draining windmill, dating from 1847. It controls the water level in the western part of Amsterdam, 2 meters below sea level.
Easy to reach by tram 1, stop Baden Powellweg, (go left to the circuit, then go right) or tram 2 (end of the line) or bus 195 (stop Langsom).

Opening hours: Open every day from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Last tour 4.30 p.m. (Closed January 1, April 27, December 25 and 26).
